Lextrous offers all prospective clients a free Trial Engagement — one scoped project at no cost — before any payment is required. This allows you to evaluate the quality and fit of our work with no financial risk. Once a paid engagement begins, all payments are final.
Before committing to a paid engagement, every prospective client is offered a single Trial Engagement at no charge. The scope of the trial is agreed in writing before work begins. The trial is intended to give you a meaningful sample of our work so that any decision to proceed with a paid engagement is fully informed.
The Trial Engagement carries no obligation on either party to continue into a paid arrangement.
All paid Services are billed monthly, in advance. Work begins upon receipt of cleared payment. There are no long-term contracts or minimum commitments. You may discontinue at the end of any billing month by providing written notice before the next payment date.
We do not offer credit, deferred payment, or post-delivery invoicing.
Lextrous does not offer refunds on paid Services.
Given the nature of professional services — which involve the time, expertise, and resources of our team from the moment an engagement begins — payments made for a given month are non-refundable once work has commenced.
We believe the Trial Engagement removes the risk from your decision to engage us. If you are uncertain about the quality or fit of our work, we encourage you to complete the trial and evaluate it thoroughly before making any payment.
You may cancel an ongoing engagement at any time by notifying us in writing before your next billing date. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid period. You will continue to receive Services until the end of that period. No further charges will be made after cancellation is confirmed.

If you believe a Deliverable materially fails to meet the agreed scope or brief, please contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery. We will review the concern in good faith and, where we agree that the Deliverable does not meet the agreed specification, we will revise it at no additional charge.
This revision process is your sole remedy in the event of a disagreement about Deliverable quality. It does not constitute a right to a refund.
We encourage all clients to raise concerns promptly. Concerns raised after 7 days of delivery, or after a Deliverable has been published or used, cannot be considered for revision.
Payments are processed via Stripe, Razorpay, or Wise, depending on your location. Each processor operates under its own terms and conditions. Any fees charged by your bank or payment provider — including currency conversion fees — are your responsibility and are not reimbursable by Lextrous.
Initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider without first raising the matter with us is a violation of these Terms. We will contest any chargeback that does not reflect a genuine unauthorised transaction, and we reserve the right to terminate the engagement and pursue recovery of costs in such cases.
